Tibetan Language
The Tibetan language known as is one of the major languages of the Himalayan region and a key carrier of Tibetan culture, history, and spirituality. Belonging to the Sino-Tibetan language family, it is spoken by millions of people across the Tibetan Plateau, including the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and neighbouring areas such as Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, and Yunnan, as well as in parts of Nepal, Bhutan, and India. More than a means of communication, Tibetan serves as a cultural bridge linking everyday life with centuries of religious and philosophical tradition.
