The Tibetan people are an ethnic group native to the Tibetan Plateau, primarily living in the Tibet Autonomous Region and surrounding areas of Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, Yunnan. Tibetan people traditionally inhabit one of the highest regions on Earth, adapting to life at altitudes of 3,500–5,000+ meters, with unique physical, cultural, and environmental adaptations.
