8 Days Tibet to Nepal Overland Group Tour
This will be a great tour, as you will have opportunities to see some of the stunning landscapes of Tibet. To ensure a gradual adjustment to the altitude, you will start out with tours around Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet. You will tour around some of the historical and religious sites, such as the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, and Drepung and Sera monasteries.
Then, you will embark on the extended journey which will include overland travel through some of the marvelous landscapes and visits to key stunning sites. For example, the north-facing Mt. Everest (alt. 8848m), the Mt. Shisha Pangma (alt.8012m), the Yamdrok Lake, the Karo La Glacier, and the Pelkhor Chode Monastery in Gyantse, which has one of the best old towns in central Tibet.
