15 days group tour to Kailash and everest

On this tour, we will spend first three nights in Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet, where we will explore sites of religious and historic significance in the city, including the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery. This part of the trip is to ensure gradual acclimatization to the altitude in the subsequent legs of the trip. We will then set out on the road to Tibet to visit some of the marvelous landscapes.

Furthermore, we also visit stunning sites in the southwest and central Tibet. For example, the Yamdrok Lake, the Karo La Glacier, and the Pelkhor Chode Monastery in Gyantse. Next, we will go to Shigatse, Tibet’s second largest city and home to the largest Buddhist monastery of Tashi Lhunpo. After Shigatse, we will cross several high passes, including the Gyatso La. Moreover, it offers a sweeping view of the world’s highest mountain range – the Himalaya range.

The trekking trip to Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar that is incorporated in this package provides a great combination of tranquility, sightseeing, and physical challenge.

We will accomplish 52 kilometers over three full days. We will trek through some of the most amazing terrains, with altitude ranging from 4400m to 5200m. For the devout pilgrims, a visit to Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar forms the ultimate realization of their spiritual pursuit. For the trekking-lovers, the journey offers a deep sensation of rugged beauty, remoteness, and solitude.

In addition, you will be able to experience an up close of the traditional lifestyle of the local Tibetans. We will arrange for your visits to a typical farmers’ village or a nomad tent. Moreover, we ensure that you have plenty of time at your own disposal to see and feel what it is like to be eating in local Tibetan restaurants. Furthermore, we have an afternoon or morning tea in local tea-shops. A visit to Tibetan traditional handicraft center will be also arranged during the tour. We will see and learn the extraordinary array of authentic Tibetan traditional and contemporary works of crafts and arts.
